Business Springing to Life

Hey, Hi!

It nice to officially meet you all. This is the first of many blog posts to come. This site is for The Wandering Jewels. The Wandering Jewels is my brand, and my brand is more than my Jewelry, I am Jewelya. The Wandering Jewel.

You can learn more about why I go by Jewelya by reading the "My Story" section on my website. I am just as unique and complex as my jewelry. For that reason "Wandering Jewels" is also my life and the journey that it is. I never thought being in my late 20s I would be starting my own business let alone a jewelry store. Here we are!

I always saw my life taking the routine path we are taught in school. Go to school, find a career, work said career with benefits, find a house, marry, retire.... Maybe I did not see it just like that but you can understand the idea. Throughout all my schooling I always kept up my creative side. Between photography and jewelry, it was difficult to decide which one I wanted to take into a full-fledged business. Most of the images you see on this site are taken by me, Wandering Jewels Photography. Photography will always be my first love and greatest passion. Creating jewelry keeps my hands busy and away from technology. When I make the pieces you see here, lots of time, love and consideration goes into them.

Since the world was turned upside down, obviously the routine path no longer looks the same. In adapting to this new world, this is now my path. Come wander with me!!
